Mr. English moved to Cocoa Beach, Florida in 1964 to work for NASA. He rose through the organization, ultimately becoming the Director of the Executive Management Office at the Kennedy Space Center. He worked directly for five KSC Center Directors. He was instrumental in the founding of the Merritt Island Wildlife Association. He was also proud to be made a member of the Guild of Air Pilots and Air Navigators, a Livery Company of the City of London, later known as The Honourable Company of Air Pilots.
