COMMENTS:

Started in 1980 working Space Shuttle IMU/Star Tracker software verification in Houston Texas. Location was McDonnell Douglas Technical Services Company (MDTSCO) building C on Space Center Boulevard. Transferred to JSC FOD in Building 4 post STS-1 working payloads and ESA hardware (Instrument Pointing System, Spacelab CDMS). Developed Spacelab Operational Data Book and supported STS-9 in the SPAN.  Transferred to KSC in December 1984 as resident JSC payload VITT office rep. (beginning with STS-51C). Responsible for payload operations and verification for FCOD and MOD requirements as primary technical contact at KSC. Directed the payload bay closeout photography pre-launch and distribution of hard copy photos to support MCC flight ops. Supported Flight Data File pre-launch activities for TCDT and LCD.
