COMMENTS:

Robert M. Howard, a 1960 graduate of Avon Park High School, was presented a Certificate of Commendation by Kennedy Space Center Director Lee R. Scherer. The presentation was made at the Spaceport’s annual award ceremony.

Howard, a design engineer, received the NASA honor “in recognition of engineering skills and leadership demonstrated in the design, development, and acquisition of Launch Processing System transducers used in the KSC Ground Support Equipment systems.”
